PixFerry: Privacy Policy

PixFerry for Windows (Microsoft Store), published by DixonAppStudio LLC. Last updated 3 November 2026.

Short version

PixFerry does not collect, store, sell or share any personal data. Your photos and PDFs are converted on your own PC and are never uploaded. The app has no analytics, no ads, no account and makes no network connections of its own.

Your files

PixFerry reads only the files and folders you add (by drag and drop, the file picker, or "Open with"), and writes the converted copies to the place you choose. Originals are never changed or deleted. By default PixFerry removes EXIF metadata, including GPS location, from the converted copies; you can switch this off to keep it.

Settings stored on your PC

Your choices (output format, quality, resize, theme, output folder) are saved in a small settings file in your Windows user profile so they are remembered next time. The window's web view keeps its own local cache in the same place. Uninstalling PixFerry removes them.

Microsoft Store

Purchases, the free trial and app updates are handled by the Microsoft Store under Microsoft's privacy statement. We receive only the aggregated sales and crash reports Microsoft provides to developers; they do not identify you.
