Square Meters to Square Feet (m² to sq ft)
A foot is exactly 0.3048 m, so a square foot is 0.09290304 m² (NIST SP 811) and one square meter is 10.7639 sq ft. Multiply square meters by 10.764 — a 50 m² apartment is 538 sq ft.
Formula
sq ft = m² ÷ 0.09290304 (= m² × 10.7639104)
Example: 10 square meters = 107.639 square feet.

Good to know
The common mistake: multiplying an area by 3.28 (the meters-to-feet factor) undercounts by more than two-thirds. Area scales with the square of length, so the factor is 3.28084² = 10.764.
Homes and rentals: a 30 m² studio is 323 sq ft, a 75 m² two-bedroom flat is 807 sq ft and a 150 m² house is 1,615 sq ft. European and Asian listings quote m²; US and Canadian listings quote sq ft.
Flooring and paint: tile and laminate boxes in the US are labeled in square feet, so convert the room's m² and add 5–10% for cuts. A 12 m² bedroom needs about 129 sq ft of flooring before waste.
